Shake down dive - first in the Red Sea. Swam over all sorts of coral and suddenly we were at 20 m. Saw a little lion fish hiding under a little lump of coral. We all went down in a group and played Follow the Leader with Craig. Looked up and was staggered by the sight of a huge outcrop of coral towering over me with hundreds of fish around it: at last I was really in the Red Sea! Wrote 'The Dog's Nads' on my slate and showed it to Dave. Saw a large coral grouper and loads of angel fish. Buoyancy was good, mask was good: this was indeed a superb dive promising great things for this week.
