Dive 37

Coral Garden to 21.8 m

Early morning dive just after sun-up. Spotted a large Puffer fish lurking in the sand in some coral, its extraordinary black eyes protruding at the front of its head. Also saw a rather large Giant jack swim past, and a massive barracuda in the hazy distance. Saw another bird fish and lots of beautiful undulating blue fish about 35 cm long and 25 cm high - never seen them before, maybe they're early morning fish. Stayed down a little longer than on other Craig-led dives because my air consumption was good. This was a virgin dive site that not even Craig had dived before.
